Fantastic start to the series. A completely fresh take on time travel that is actually believable for once.

This is the kind of book I wish we'd read in school.

What's the book about?
In a near-future London where empathy is a crime and compassion gets you disappeared, Jacob is forced by his mother, a powerful government Magistrate, to undergo an emotion-correcting brain implant.
...except hidden inside is stolen quantum code that should never exist.
Who put it there? And why him? He’s just a 16-year-old idiot who cares too much.
…and now his futures are killing him.
To survive, Jacob and his best mate must race across a deadly, divided city, hunted by his own mother and those who will stop at nothing to take back the impossible secret burning into his mind. Because the future Jacob is racing towards won't just change his... It will rewrite everyone's.

About the author
For decades, my day job has been all about visual storytelling. Working as a graphic designer, I was an early adopter of Adobe Photoshop (way back in the nineties!), building worlds pixel by pixel. During my years working for IPC Media, right on London's Southbank, I designed and wrote countless Photoshop tutorials for digital photography magazines.
I also co-authored three traditionally published books on digital photography and Photoshop image editing.

My passion for all things science fiction and fantasy meant it was only a matter of time before my own creative writing teleported into the world of fiction.
Remember the Future is my debut fiction novel and has been a two-year labour of love creating a familiar yet ominous near-future dystopian London caught in a tech-fueled culture war... a world that feels like it's only just around the corner (or perhaps it's already here).
I'm so excited to share this story with you.
